This
book is a roadmap to personal freedom. It is based on a map created by the Toltecs
over many hundreds of years. In the Nahuatl (Aztec) language Toltec means "a Person
of Knowledge". A person on the Toltec path is referred to as a warrior. The warrior
actively seeks out the personal power necessary to reach freedom. The Toltecs
identify specific Masteries needed as a warrior progresses toward freedom. This
book covers three of these Masteries, specifically the Mastery of Awareness, the
Mastery of Transformation (sometimes called the Mastery of Stalking), and the
Mastery of Intent. In the Mastery of Awareness
the Toltec warrior begins to expand the awareness of him or her self. It is the
first step to know thy self. Like a jaguar hunting a prey, the warrior stalks
his or her thoughts, feelings and actions. The warrior digs deeply into him or
herself to uncover their deepest secrets. Through keen observation the Toltec
notes their habitual patterns of thinking, their personality modes, their prevalent
attitudes, their beliefs and their worldview. Through
stalking themselves and expanding their awareness the Toltecs realized that what
we perceive to be the world is really only a very small part of all of creation.
Our perception is very limited. Our conditioning, our beliefs, and our psychological
wounding limit it. We are bound by our limited perception. Through working the
three Masteries the Toltecs found it is possible to expand our perception of the
world around us and even discover entirely new worlds. Through
the Mastery of Awareness we discover aspects of ourselves we were previously unaware
of. We become aware of both positive and negative parts of self. We see where
we are stuck and limited. We find where our patterns and conditioning bind us
and limit our perception and personal power. We begin to get glimpses of a new
way of living, a new life free from the dense mass consciousness of humanity,
which the Toltecs call the dream of the planet. The dream of the planet is full
of suffering and pain. The Toltec realizes that what the average human perceives
to be reality is nothing more than a dream. For many it is a nightmare. The
Toltec warrior strives to create a new life, a new dream. This begins in the Mastery
of Transformation. In the Mastery of Transformation the warrior reclaims his or
her personal power. The warrior heals their psychological wounding. The Toltec
breaks habitual patterns of thinking, attitudes, and beliefs to free up his or
her perception. The warrior creates a new inner world. This new inner world flows
naturally and freely. It is free from the binding dysfunction and chaos of the
average human's inner world. It operates efficiently. No energy is wasted. From
this new inner world the warrior begins to manifest a beautiful new dream of freedom
in their outer world. In the Mastery of Transformation
the warrior heals, cleans and clears his or her self. He or she begins to become
the clear channel necessary for the Mastery of Intent. It can take many years
of diligent work in the Mastery of Awareness and the Mastery of Transformation
before a warrior is able to embark on the Mastery of Intent. The Mastery of Intent
is where true spiritual evolution begins. It is where we begin to move from the
horizontal flow of growth to the vertical flow of evolution. It requires that
the warrior develop the capability to sense energy and energy essences. In the
Mastery of Intent the warrior connects with a higher aspect of him or her self
called the Dreamer. It is through this connection that the warrior receives direct
guidance. No longer is it necessary for the warrior to go to a book, a person
or a source outside him or herself for answers. The answers flow from the Dreamer. In the Mastery of Intent the warrior develops
the capacity to "see". Seeing is an advanced sense of knowingness. The warrior
"sees" and knows. Seeing is not confined to time and space. I will give a simple
example. My wife was telling me about a fellow schoolteacher of hers. I had never
met her friend but as my wife spoke about her I began to "see" where she lived
and whom she was living with. At the time my wife's friend was living with a man.
Neither my wife nor I had ever met this man. But as my wife spoke I began to "see"
his life issues, his personal patterns and how he was impacting my wife's friend
in a negative way. I told my wife about it about the details of what I "saw." She called her friend to relay the information to her. After
speaking with my wife the woman began to understand how her living situation was
unhealthy for her. This stimulated her to evaluate what she wanted to do and where
she wanted to be. Ultimately, with this new awareness she decided to move out
of the man's house. The Toltecs view life
as a dream. The normal life that most people live is called the dream of the planet.
It is the dream of mass consciousness with all of its dysfunction and suffering.
The dream of the planet is man's projection. Toltecs refer to this as a dream
of hell. A warrior strives for personal freedom. He moves from the chains of the
dream of the planet to a place were he CO-creates his own dream in alignment with
the intent of his Dreamer. He moves from the dream of hell to the dream of heaven. . . . Continued in book |
